Athens: On the first iteration of this fountain, Cameron worked extremely long and hard, sculpting the seemingly natural folds in what is now cast aluminum. When it was finished and he showed it to me, father that I am, I went right for the jugular. “Does it splash?” I asked. Cameron glared and we tried it out and…unfortunately it did splash. Undaunted, Cameron went back and redesigned one that looks the same, but doesn’t splash. Way to go Cameron! The folds and the columns bring to mind a long ago era, that of ancient Greece.
